Avian Grooming (nail and beak trim)
Proper grooming helps your avian companion maintain balance, prevents self-injury, and helps them use their perches naturally.
Small Mammal Nail Trims
Regular nail trims can help prevent discomfort, painful problems, or broken nails in rats, guinea pigs, and other small mammals. We use species-specific tools and restraint to make the process as stress-free as possible. For calmer pets, we can trim nails without anesthesia. For more anxious ones, please let us know and we can discuss medication that can be given at home to make them more comfortable.
Reptile Nail and Beak Trims
While some reptiles naturally wear down their nails, others — especially those in indoor enclosures — may require trimming. We offer gentle nail care for lizards, turtles, and tortoises to prevent overgrowth and injury while minimizing stress. Tortoises on captive diets commonly develop overgrown beaks. We offer sedated beak trims to help with patient health and comfort.
